How does leanIX distribute costs to business capabilities?

The report Business Capability Cost indicates, how much your company spends on applications to support the different business capabilities. It can be a powerful tool to identify areas with cost cutting potential. Like for any other report, to give a complete and meaningful overview all relevant information must be available in leanIX. For the report Business Capability Cost that means in particular cost information and supported business capabilities for every application. All costs an application bears are attributed to its leading business capability. So basically the report shows all the costs that are caused by all applications needed to support the business capabilities.

TIP: leanIX tracks how many and which applications are not included in the report because either cost information or supported business capabilities are missing.
