Hi,
more and more collaborative capabilities (e.g. modern digital workplace) and corresponding tools (e.g. Mural) are important particular in the digital/ new normal era.
What are best practices to cover this within a business capabilty map (e.g. separate domain (Level-1-Capability area or distibuted across several domains like Marketing & Sales) ?

We did it with a Capability "Collaboration & Communication" under "Supporting Capabilities", in which we add also our Microsoft 365 business relevant applications. We did not see any sense to cluster these also into the other business capabilities, because the wide use of these applications.
As a result we see all the collaboration and communication tools in one business capability and we are able to overview and track them.
